Electronics IT Manager

Position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager

Supervises company rendering IT personnel

  • Assist, write new PLC code (Ladder Logic), design, program HMI Interfaces (Allen Bradley Panel views), and maintain existing code to control a variety of machines used to automate food processing
  • Program using Allen-Bradley ladder logic and write software for PLCs from other manufacturers (PLC Open/IEC 61131-3).
  • Maintain Ignition SCADA system for Rendering Facility
  • Create, read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up
  • Assist in development of schematics, wiring and panel layout designs for electrical/electronic installations and repairs at MOPAC Rendering, Souderton Beef, Seaford, Elizabethville and Mountain View facilities if requested
  • Conduct weekly Safety Inspections and Employee Observation Audits as required by JBS MEP program
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers (corporate and/or external engineering providers) to identify, define or solve chronic problems or design issues.
  • Maintain electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventative and on-going maintenance & testing, programs, scheduling repairs, coordinating shutdowns and installations
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Managers to implement process optimizations and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Understand Network switches and trouble shooting

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years programming experience on PLCs.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with User Interface design.
  • Experience with VFD's and servo drives.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
  • Software architecture.
  • Project management skills able to work on multiple projects at once and see them through to completion.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and interest in taking the initiative.

Experience: PLC programming: 3 years

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
